本次展览展出姚虹宾纸上结合水彩与水墨的作品，在这一阶段艺术家的创作背后在思考建立与破坏的关系，从而寻求一种意外。“生命需要意外、需要基因突变”是姚虹宾艺术创作的初始。这个系列的作品中，姚虹宾在建立秩序的同时，对材料意外的失控而成为一种自由的状态。在这种失序的不确定中，索性抛下意义，任由眼睛支配大脑，用视觉去感受作品。使这个系列的作品在理性的框架中，又不失感性的趣味。

陈墙老师曾说姚虹宾这个系列的作品：“材料简朴，风格却新颖独特。作品在他严密控制的同时还要任其水与颜色在纸纹上的自然流淌，有一种收放自如的爽劲。画面时而和风细雨、时而波涛汹涌，也很有翻云覆雨的气势。将清透明澈与浑浊艰涩出其不意地掌控在同一画面中，让眼睛大有视之艰浊、觉之明透的响脆之感。”

This exhibition shows Yao Hongbin's works of combining watercolor and ink on paper. At this stage, the artist is thinking about the relationship between establishment and destruction, so as to seek a kind of accident. "Life needs accident and gene mutation" is the beginning of Yao Hongbin's artistic creation. In this series of works, Yao Hongbin, while establishing order, accidentally loses control of materials and becomes a state of freedom. In this kind of out of order uncertainty, they simply leave the meaning behind and let the eyes dominate the brain to feel the works with vision. So that this series of works in the rational framework, but also lose the emotional interest.

Chen Qiang once said that Yao Hongbin's works in this series: "the materials are simple, but the style is novel and unique. While his works are under his strict control, he also allows the water and color to flow naturally on the paper grain, which has a kind of cool power of freely retracting and releasing. Sometimes the picture is gentle, sometimes it's rough, and it's full of momentum. The clear, transparent and turbid are controlled in the same picture by surprise, which gives the eyes a feeling of seeing and a clear feeling.
